Lot Traceability
Food Safe Pro!® has 2 different ways to track lots for Recall purposes. Custom Forms & Product Tracker!
First method is simply entering data into Custom Form log forms recording lot numbers when raw materials are received, batched and shipped. The second method is using our inventory system named Product Tracker. This method not only tracks lots but also tracks inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
Custom Form method.
Food Safe Pro!® Custom Forms uses our form logs to record data electronically. The data from each of these logs are displayed in FSP Di reporting and can track lots for Recall of ingredients and finished products!
This method is a bit more manual process and not as streamlined or detailed as the Product Tracker method below.
Product Tracker Module method.
Food Safe Pro!® uses our Product Tracker Module to receive raw materials & lots; record batching ingredients & lots; and record where lots are shipped. This module is much more detailed than the Custom Form method, it tracks raw materials quantities on hand and finished products quantities on hand.
